Facility Hire

Hiring Fendalton Bowling Club  Clubrooms and Facilities

 

Fully booked until January 2022

The Fendalton Bowling Club has an upstairs lounge (with lift) that can accommodate up to 80 people and a downstairs hall with a capacity of up to 120 people. 

 

Types of Event

Functions  –  Birthday parties, wedding anniversaries, weddings, funerals, quiz nights etc.

  • Bar licence required if liquor is to be available.

Bowls  -  Generally desire greater than 20 participants. Bowls and support provided by the Club.

  • NO licence required if signed in as casual members in accordance with Regulation 1 of the Club Constitution. See blue folder in the bar.

  • Participants must wear flat soled shoes jandals or bare feet.

Liquor Supply

  • Liquor supply is through the club – we do not allow BYO.  If a licence is required (because bowls are not being played as part of the facility hire) application to the Liquor Licensing section of the CCC must be made at least 20 working days before the event. Cost of a licence depends on size.

  • Up to 100 - $65. Over 100 - $210.

  • Food MUST be provided when liquor is available.

 

Fees all plus GST

  • Hire of upstairs Lounge $300 /half day or evening.

  • Downstairs Lounge $350/half day or evening.

  • Both $550.

All allow use of the kitchen providing there is no conflict We do allow use of some of our crockery by negotiation.

  • Barman $25/hr/barman.

  • Bowls $15/person (minimum charge $300).

  • Licence $65 for less than 100 people.

  • Use of BBQ $50/BBQ.

 

Other extras by negotiation.  Note we do not cater.

Payment Terms

Deposit $100 on confirmation of the event to our bank account 031355-0537741-00.

Special prices can be agreed between Booking Manager and House/Bar Manager eg. tutorial groups, Probus, regular use of the facility.

 

No Smoking or Vaping

We have a policy of No Smoking on our property and in our buildings.  Smoking is permitted outside our gates in the parking area or in the Park.
