Opening Day
2011/2012 season Club Opening Day is set for Saturday 24th September at 1 pm. The first jack will be delivered by Life Member Elise Allison and the first bowl by our Patron, Ross Brooke.
All members encouraged to attend. Those intending to play should wear whites.
Club House
Renovations are now complete and the lift to the upstairs lounge installed. This has made quite an impact enabling our older members to continue to enjoy the use of all of our facilities.
Gardens and Grounds
Notwithstanding the earthquakes, the gardens continue to be maintained to a very high standard by our grounds team and we can expect the usual brilliant flower display throughout the bowling season.
Greens
Both greens are currently closed. No 2 green is in excellent condition and will be open for normal play from the beginning of the season.
No 1 green is now planed and re-sown. Unfortinately it may not be available in time for the official opening.
